We had lots of fun during this 7 day stretch.  Now that we aren't trapped inside with the flu, we have been able to get out and about and it's fun!  For some of my photos, I used prompts from Clickin Moms' weekly glimpse list.

Day 29:  Washing dishes.  He just loves "helping out" and "making bubbles."  His new step stool in the kitchen has opened up a whole new exciting world!

Day 30: Playing at the WISC.  Last time we were there, I just loved all the vibrant colors.  This time I changed it up a bit and took advantage of some window light and edited in black and white.

Day 31: Norge Depot Museum.  This sign looks like it has seen a lot.

Day 32: We have a great doctor who makes house calls.

Day 33: Making birthday cakes with our hands.

Day 34: More house calls.

Day 35: Macro of our son's guitar strings.

Day 35: Fresh out of the bath, playing with his guitar.

It's been a great week.  I'm finally starting to get back into the groove after being sick with the flu.  This week I took some photos with my iPhone since I worked a bunch and didn't have my Samsung or Canon with me the whole time.  It snowed and I really wanted to get a macro pic of a snowflake, but it didn't happen since I was working.  Next time.

Day 22:  Love his smiling face!

Day 23:  Fun at the WISC.  Love all the vibrant colors in this one.

Day 24:  A macro of some berries in our backyard after it rained.  I can't wait for Spring so I can you utilize my macro lens on the flowers.  First I need to get that snowflake capture, though!

Day 25: I was experimenting with my iPhone with this one.  We were at Trader Joe's and I wanted to take a different pic than I usually do.  I like the feel the black and white edit gave to the pic. I also got a new app on my iPhone that I can apply my watermarks with.  So, this capture was completely taken and edited with my iPhone.

Day 26: Is it going to snow tonight?  Yes, Kermit, yes!

Day 27: I worked on this day and the most exciting thing was my new locker decor.  Taken with my iPhone.

Day 28:  Rock wall at the WISC.  Just love all the vibrant colors.  Can't wait to try it out!

And another week passes.  This month is truly flying and I've spent most of it sick.  Anyway, this project is helping to keep my mind on other things.  We started this week with an ice storm, which my husband helped to capture.  I took many pics of my Sunshine, because I just don't want to miss a minute.  We also attended a party for a friend of ours who just turned 2.  It was a fun week.

Day 15: Ice on our crepe myrtle.  Hubs did a great job capturing our ice storm.

Day 16: Our Sunshine is growing up. He's loving Japanese food and he's using real silverware!!  Where is the time going?

Day 17: Love this one!  What a special moment.  Our little friend just wanted to eat his cupcake.  Who cares about the candle.

Day 18: Helping Daddy make whipped cream.

Day 19: Our little pastry chef.

Day 20: Playing with blocks.  Love his little hands.

Day 21: Our Sunshine just loves Kermit.  He feeds him and dances with him.

Howdy from the flu zone!

This patch of 7 days was pretty challenging.  I've been sick with the flu and it's been rough.  The days that I really felt bad, I just didn't have the energy to take a picture so I edited some pics that I took at the Virginia Living Museum in November.  They brought a smile to my face, because I just love nature shots and I haven't been able to get out much.  We had a little ice storm in Williamsburg and it was so pretty.  My lovely husband helped me out and took some pics of the ice when I was sick.  I edited them in Lightroom, but he took the ice storm pics. Thanks, Hubs.

Day 8: Pretty bird perching on tree debris at the Virginia Living Museum.

Day 9: My flu was in full swing.  Worst coughing of my life.

Day 10: Sunshine loves to help out in the kitchen.  He's helping to make pancakes.

Day 11: We had fun with a little Mentos and Diet Coke action with our neighbors.

Day 12: This sleeping beauty was the perfect symbol of what I needed to be doing with the flu.  Resting!!

Day 13: Another shot of the sleeping beauty at the Virginia Living Museum.

Day 14: Ice storm pic taken by my hubs.  This is of our crepe myrtle in our front yard.

Hi Guys,

I made it through week 1 of my 365.  It wasn't easy as our family has been sick with various winter illnesses for the past month, but I did it.  Subject matter is limited since we didn't get out much.  On days that I worked, I found it hard to find something to take a picture of.  This is definitely a challenging project!  All photos were taken with my Samsung NX300 and 30mm pancake lens.  All photos edited in Lightroom.  Feedback appreciated and welcome.  Thanks so much!

Veronica

Day 1:  Waiting for Mama

Day 2:  Where's my treat?

Day 3: Chocolate making.  My husband finally was able to get back to his hobby of chocolate making on the weekend.  Yay!
Day 4:  The only way to get through Trader Joe's.  We love Trader Joe's and Alex loves sampling all the food.  The employees are so nice and welcome him opening and eating whatever he wants.  We always pay for it, but they say if he doesn't like what he tries, we don't have to pay for it.  They are the BEST.

Day 5:  Little fingers tickling the ivories

Day 6:  Who knew an orange peel could provide an hour of fun?

Day 7:  End of day clean up.
