The photo that started it all

We were cat sitting at a friend's house one day.  I brought our new Canon EOS 60D because I wanted to take some pictures of our friend's cats.  We saw a pair of beautiful American Goldfinches dancing around some flowers.  I managed to capture the image of one of them.  When I got home and started to edit the image, I was giddy with excitement.
